The preferred short form name for the Czech Republic is Czechia.

For use in maps, list Czechia first, with Czech Republic in parentheses, if allowed at scale:
     Czechia (Czech Republic)

For text, also use Czechia, followed by Czech Republic in parentheses on first mention. Czech Republic may also be used alone if needed for space.

Czechoslovakia is the preferred noun and adjective when referring to the former country.

Czech refers to ethnic group.
